The Shooter's "Cornhole Madness" featured several quality players from all over Kentucky and Ohio. This was a double elimination tournament with a single game in both winners and losers bracket. Coming in fourth place was the always tough Tony Hankins from Louisville, KY. Third Place was from Cincinnati, OH and a first timer at one of our tournaments, Willie Wall. The finals came down to Keith "The Heavy Hitter" Blair and Derrick "The Next" King. Derrick won the winners bracket and Keith came out of the losers bracket after being defeated by Derrick earlier in the day. Derrick defeated Keith rather badly in the early part of the tournament, and the championship started out pretty similar before Blair found his stroke. The game ended up being very tight throughout with King coming out on top. Blair never found his game 100% all day, but put up a great game in the finals. Derrick "The Next" King lived up to his nickname and was fairly dominant throughout the day. When Derrick stays confident and keeps a steady throwing pace he continues to be a tough out for anybody!
